about

The morning of September 11th 2001, teenagers Juliet and Tommy Simms woke to the confusing site of a New York City Trade Center tower in flames on television. They watched in horror, like so many people, as the second tower was also struck by a passenger plane. Like most of us, Tommy and Juliet could not believe what they saw that morning; but unlike most of us, Tommy drove through the night from central Florida to NYC and volunteered the next day Ground Zero for 2 weeks working with the NYC Fire Department and Search and Rescue to try and find survivors and aid the workers - an experience he almost never talks about. Upon 17 year old Tommy's return, not aware that these would be the first Automatic Loveletter recordings, he produced a song for his sister, Juliet Simms, who had written about the attack. At 15, a young girl and with her father stranded on the other side the country, Juliet was not allowed to go to NY, despite pleading, but she could write about it. The opening and style of the song were clearly inspired by Humanitarian Rock Legend John Lennon. The song, "Dream with Me" was never officially released but is available September 11th, 2011, for free download in support of John Lennon's Dream of World Peace and the hope that in your lifetime, it can be achieved.

LYRICS
"Imagine All the People" a great man once said, but I guess imagining wasn't good enough for hate prevailed instead.

Now I can try to get my point across to you, but it's going to take a louder voice to listen to- not a 100 men not a thousand fold -but all as one hear the call.

Close your eyes, for once think of each other, reach out, we've been here forever.
I've been dreaming on again. Dream with me.

She sits alone on an old wooden porch, her heart cries out and fills with remorse. The breaking news of burning giants, we're at the mercy of invisible tyrants.

He takes his steps into the gates of hell. Now in the boundaries of kill or be killed. He's shaking now with the horror he's facing, good men gone mad cuz they're trained to be crazy.

Close your eyes, for once think of each other, reach out, we've been here forever.
I've been dreaming on again. Dream with me.

We've fought for so long no good has come, and you've lost the battle that you thought you won, so Im down on my knees, end this misery.

Close your eyes, for once think of each other, reach out, we've been here forever.
I've been dreaming on again.
Close your eyes.
